2013 is well underway, and Thunder Row has begun with a r-r-r-r-rumble! First off, Roy Vogt, instructor extraordinaire, was recently interviewed by Melbay.com. We've posted the video interview on the Row, so have a look!
Patrick has just added a TAB version of Lane's BLACK SHEEP lesson. If you plan on going into the music industry, or pursuing your dream of teaching bass, you might not want to use TABS (sight reading will definitely take you further into THOSE FIELDS), but if you're a person who just likes playing along to songs or with family and friends, TABS can be what gets you from here to there! I hear there's going to be two versions posted: one with notation and TABS, and one with notation only. At any rate, come on and HAVE A LOOK at the lesson!
We have just posted a video review of the Sonuus Wahoo bass effects system, done by Italian bassist (and good friend to Thunder Row), Alberto Rigoni. I tell you, when I saw this, I wanted one very badly! Didn't get it - more on that later - but the Wahoo certainly has a "drool factor" of nine or ten! Have you seen Alberto's VIDEO?
And finally, we're going to be re-running our very popular CHART series. Ralph and the hard working crew at The Learning Dock's Interplanetary Headquarters have created an entire series of special charts for you to save or print. These charts vary from chords to scales and each one has something you can use! We start the series by bringing back two of the first in the series:
Many more to come! Stay tuned!
